It offers fund flexibility while providing value-added returns. Funds can be used anytime for stock trading, subscriptions, or withdrawals, offering higher returns than demand deposits. Interest accrues even during Hong Kong stock market closure.

To enhance liquidity while delivering stable returns, the sub-fund invests at least 85% of its Net Asset Value in bank deposits, short-term financing of leading companies, and other money market instruments, and may invest up to 15% of its Net Asset Value in debt securities.

The sub-fund aims to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 85% of its Net Asset Value in a range of short-term deposits and high-quality money market instruments issued by governments and leading companies, and money market funds that are authorized by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) under 8.2 of the Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds or regulated in a manner generally comparable with the requirements of the SFC and acceptable to the SFC. Within the foregoing, at least 70% of the Net Asset Value will be invested in USD denominated money market instruments and deposits, and investment in money market funds will be up to 10% of the Net Asset Value. Money market instruments in which the sub-fund may invest include: government bills, certificates of deposit, commercial papers, short-term notes, and bankers' acceptance, etc. The sub-fund may invest up to 15% of its Net Asset Value in high quality debt securities.

After you sign the Balance Fund Service Authorization, idle funds in your securities account will be automatically invested into the corresponding money market fund.
When deductions occur (e.g., for purchasing stocks, options, IPO subscriptions, funds, withdrawals, or repayments), holdings in the money market fund will be automatically redeemed as needed. All holdings will be redeemed when the automatic investment agreement is terminated.
Cash Plus supports manual redemption. You may submit redemption requests at any time on the Cash Plus page. If the request is submitted before 9:10 am on a trading day (T-Day), redeemed funds will not be automatically reinvested into Cash Plus within 3 calendar days. If the request is submitted after 9:10 am on T-Day, redeemed funds will not be automatically reinvested until T+3. After the redeemed funds arrive, they can be immediately used for stock trading, IPO subscriptions, currency exchange, or withdrawals. The redeemed funds will arrive in your account by T+1.
Automatic investment/redemption occurs at a fixed time every day, with no need to specify trading time.
Funds are automatically invested into the money market fund and begin accruing interest within one working day after arriving in the account. Note: Processing time is calculated based on Hong Kong statutory working days and will be postponed during holidays.

Note: T-Day and T+1 are Hong Kong trading days. If they fall on holidays, the processing time will be postponed accordingly. If no securities margin or other trading occurs and cash balances remain unchanged between T-Day 9:10 am–T+1 9:10 am, redemption amounts will be 0. The timing of automatic investment/redemption varies by fund and is usually completed between 8:30 am– 9:10 am.
