General Instructions For Online Banking Transfer (Hong Kong Regional Banks)

Wire transfer is a deposit method of Longbridge App. Transfers within the same bank are expected to arrive within 2 hours, while interbank transfers may take 1–3 working days. The fee depends on the remitting bank. Below is the specific operation process.

Operation process

Step 1. Go to the Longbridge App > Portfolio > Deposit, select deposit currency and a Hong Kong bank card, click Internet Banking Transfer, and view the recipient bank information.

Step 2. Perform transfer operations via your bank's mobile app or website, and keep a screenshot of the proof of remittance.

Step 3. [Important] To ensure timely processing, please save a screenshot (or take a photo) of the proof of remittance and upload it via the Longbridge App.

  1. Supported banks: Hong Kong bank cards. For details, see the list of Hong Kong bank cards on the deposit page of Longbridge App. Guidelines for wire transfers from common Hong Kong banks are as follows: 

2. You need to register important information such as a valid mobile phone number, email address, and up-to-date identity documents with your banks.

3. The name on the bank accountused for the transfer must match the name on your Longbridge Securities account. You cannot use another person's bank accounts for transfers, and joint bank accounts are currently not supported for deposits. Any refund fees incurred due to non-compliance will be borne by you.

4. It takes time for the bank to process the transfer. Bank notifications stating "transfer initiated" do not indicate immediate receipt by Longbridge Securities. Settlement and approval are required after the funds arrive in Longbridge Securities. Transfers are not processed during Hong Kong public holidays. Please allow sufficient time for processing.

5. Longbridge Securities currently does not accept cash deposits.
